At this year's AGM, Edward "Eddie" Fabian was presented with the 2024 Club Person of the year award, not only in recognition of his contribution to the club over the past 12-months, but also to acknowledge and celebrate his many years of service to TEES.
Eddie also confirmed that he would be stepping down from his role as president, a position that he has filled since 2009.
All of us at TEES, and from the wider Australian athletics community, thank Eddie for the time, effort and passion that he has given to the club since the late 1990s. The club has thrived under his leadership, having record levels of membership over the last few years. His proudest achievements are "the success of many of our club athletes at State and at National level, in particular those athletes that I coached and mentored in Javelin" and his "contributions to the growth of the club in member numbers and in participation".
Congratulations Eddie!
